How do I play?
Every number in the grid hides one letter, and the same number is always the same letter. Start from the letters you are given, guess a word, and each letter you find fills in everywhere its number appears. In the game, open Settings → How to play or Play the tutorial.
What does Premium include?
Codeword Premium is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It removes the ads between games, unlocks every daily puzzle in the archive and every theme, and gives you sixty more seconds in Blitz without an ad.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Settings in the game and tap the Premium card at the top. On the Premium screen, tap Restore purchases at the bottom. Use the same Apple Account that you used for the purchase.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why is a word shown in red?
A complete word that is not in the game's dictionary turns light red, so you know that one of its letters is wrong. To find wrong letters, use the check: it marks every wrong letter, also in words that are real.
Can I play with British or American spelling?
Yes. Open Settings and change Spelling. The grids use only words that both spellings share, and the setting decides which words you can enter.
What happens when the time runs out in Blitz?
You can take sixty more seconds by watching a short ad, or free with Premium. A game with extra time is not recorded in your statistics.
How do daily reminders work?
Turn on Daily reminder in Settings, and the game reminds you when a new daily puzzle waits. If no reminder comes, open the Settings app of your device, tap Magpie Codeword, then Notifications, and allow them.
How do I see my achievements in Game Center?
Open Statistics in the game and go to the Achievements tab, then tap the Game Center button. If you are not signed in, Game Center asks you to sign in first. Achievements that you earned before you signed in are sent the next time you sign in.
How do I change how ads use my data?
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, open Settings → Privacy choices in the game. Read more in our privacy policy.
